The wrist-wrap test
Wrap the thumb and middle finger of your dominant hand around the wrist of your non-dominant hand, just below the wrist bone.
Overlap = small frame. Just touching = medium frame. No touch = large frame.
It's not perfect, but it correlates well with the wrist-circumference tables used in classical ideal-weight formulas.
What to do with the result
Small frame: aim for the lower end of your BMI 18.5–24.9 range.
Medium frame: aim for the middle.
Large frame: aim for the upper end. This is bone structure, not fat — larger frames genuinely weigh more at the same health.
